Jamie White received his Masters degree in architecture following a 25 year career in global asset management. Initially trained as an economist and historian, he has lived at length in both Europe and Asia, traveling extensively and studying the variety of local architecture, culture and heritage.
On establishing a career in architecture, his focus has shifted from the global to the local level, incorporating in his work the quality details that make up the core fabric of our communities and their interaction with each other. It is with this in mind that he developed the concept of “Economic Sustainability through Design” to help preserve our local heritage both aesthetically and economically, making our communities both beautiful and vibrant – one building at a time.
He is involved in preservation, conservation and the inclusion of affordable housing in our communities.
